Ana Navarro, co-host of The View, slammed Melania Trump after it came out that her upcoming memoir passionately defends women’s right to abortion—in direct contrast to the conservative stance of her husband, former President Donald Trump.

According to The Guardian, who have obtained a copy of her book Melania, the 54-year-old claims that she has 'carried this belief' for her 'entire adult life', which is in stark contrast to views on abortion held by her husband, former President Donald Trump, who is the current Republican nominee.

Posting a screenshot of an online article about it on her Instagram, Ana, 52, captioned the image: 'Well, well, well. Melania coming out as strongly pro-choice a month before the Election, was not on my bingo card.

'JD Vance tried to soften his stance and come out as all compassionate during debate. And now this. Folks, don’t fall for it. They know they have a gender gap with women and are trying to have it both ways.'

The View host continued: 'Actions speak louder than words. We already know what Trump did. He appointed 3 uber-conservative Justices that over-turned Roe. Women have suffered, even died as a result.

'Trump has shown us he will capitulate to the Right. He showed us who he is the first time. Believe him!'

Ana's followers were quick to comment on the post as one person fumed: 'She doesn’t care… just trying to fool people into voting for her husband so she can stay relevant and continue to grift.'

A second person wrote: 'Like her husband I don't believe one word that comes out of her mouth,' and a third Instagram user claimed: 'It's a game. None of them are Pro Choice. They are just trying to play their last cards.'

Someone else added: 'Turn a blind eye to her meaningless comments. She’s just doing damage control,' and a different person wrote: 'I don’t trust her whatsoever. And never have trusted her.'

Ana was absent from Thursday's episode of The View, but her cohosts - including Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar - shared their thoughts on Melania's words.

Whoopi, 68, pointed out: 'She wrote this book probably a year ago, so this isn't coming out of what's going on right now and all this crazy stuff they've been saying.'

Joy, 81, then said: 'Sixty two percent of Americans oppose overthrowing Roe v. Wade, the Republican party knows this. I think they put her up to this. I think it's a big scam.

'They put her out there as the face of the American population that wants to have abortion rights and they figure, well maybe she'll talk - the only problem is she doesn't talk to him... probably.

'But besides that, I think that this is just a big lie. It's another lie from that area. Don't buy it,' the comedian added.

Their comments and Ana's scathing post comes less than two weeks after she mocked Melania on Instagram for promoting a $600 gold vermeil necklace which is available to buy on her personal website.

A description of the piece of jewelry reads: 'Vote Freedom is a limited edition, gold vermeil necklace celebrating Lady Liberty with the option of a digital collectible,' but Ana was quick to slam Trump's wife.

The Nicaraguan-American political strategist posted a video promoting the necklace and captioned it: 'Oh My God. Like really. Oh My God. Add a $600 necklace to the $90 Christmas ornaments and the memoir book and the piece-of-s**t NFTs. Oh, and the $250k to speak to gay Republicans.

'Basically, only time Melania shows her face is to extract money from poor suckers. Seriously, how can people supposedly so rich, be so miserly? What's she gonna sell next… nipple-rings?' Ana continued.

'This woman should be First Lady of Home Shopping Network. #tacky. In the mean time, Doug Emhoff is working his little heart out for free because he loves his wife and his country. Imagine that!' she added, referring to Vice President Kamala Harris' husband.

It came just days after Melania was brutally mocked for her new business venture, which also sees her flogging Christmas ornaments.

The mother-of-one - who once bashed the festive season while in the White House - unveiled her new ornament collection, 'Merry Christmas, AMERICA!' on social media last month.

'Each unique piece captures the magic of the holiday season. Let these ornaments inspire cherished memories & bring warmth to your entire family,' her announcement on X, formerly Twitter, read.

The ornaments, which are named 'USA Star,' 'Vote Liberty,' 'Let It Snow,' and 'Love & Freedom,' range from $75 to $90.
