A$AP Rocky and A$AP Relli’s legal battle continued this week as explosive text messages between the two were presented in court. The texts were revealed during Rocky’s assault trial on Wednesday, with Relli taking the stand for a second consecutive day.

According to TMZ, the text messages show Relli accusing Rocky of setting him up and trying to kill him when they agreed to meet up in the Hollywood area to settle their differences. "I tried to do what?? ... Stop making shit up Rell," the "Highjack" rapper allegedly responded.

Relli, born Terell Ephron, testified in court on Tuesday, claiming he and Rocky were arguing when the latter pulled out a gun, pointed it at him and threatened to kill him. "He pointed the gun at me and said, 'I'll kill you right now, pussy," Relli testified.

Ephron alleges he became angry and seemingly encouraged Rocky to use the weapon, saying, "You better use that shit. What the fuck you got a gun for, pussy?"

"I was willing to die for my respect," Relli said. "If this is what [Rocky] want to do, I still have my dignity."

Another alleged text message showed Relli telling Rocky that the shooting was captured on surveillance footage, but the latter not only perceived the entire interaction as a possible extortion attempt, but he even encouraged Ephron to contact the police, if shots were fired in his direction.

"Now u trynna extort n***as talkin bout i shot at u n shot u 4 times and all type of nonsense, u a phony and u dont have the best intentions, stop texting me n stop calling my manager and call police if i 'shot' @ u u weirdo," Rocky allegedly wrote.

Rocky's attorney Joe Tacopina asserts his client was in possession of a "starter pistol" prop gun at the time of the incident and the weapon could not fire real bullets.

Meanwhile, Rihanna made an appearance in court in Los Angeles on Wednesday to support her partner. Rihanna, though briefly expected to not show up after Rocky was seen entering court without her, was seated next to Rocky’s mother. Meghann Cuniff added that Rihanna was also sitting with Rocky's sister.

ASAP Rocky rejected a plea deal that included a sentence of 180 days in jail. If convicted, Rocky faces up to 24 years in prison.
