While the classless behavior of Will Smith and Chris Rock pretty much overshadowed an already uneven Oscars ceremony (I’ll give my thoughts on their ugly Oscar moment tomorrow on my YouTube show On The Line), I wanted to take a moment and celebrate the list of winners who walked away with a golden statue last night.
I was especially happy that openly queer actor Ariana DeBose won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for playing Anita in West Side Story (Rita Moreno won her Oscar for playing the same role 60 years ago), and the multiple Oscar wins for Dune.
