65th Annual GRAMMY Nominations [Full List]

The nominations for the 2023 Grammy awards were announced this morning (Tuesday), and Beyoncé's Renaissance album leads the charge with a whopping nine nominations.


Beyoncé is also the most nominated artist ever with a whopping 80 Grammy nominations under her belt.


Kendrick Lamar and Adele received eight nominations, with Mary J Blige, DJ Khaled, Harry Styles, Future and The-Dream securing six.


Reggaeton superstar Bad Bunny made history with Un Verano Sin Ti becoming the first Spanish-language album to score an Album The Year nomination.


On the LGBTQ front, Brandi Carlile was nominated in all the major categories including Record of the Year and Album of the Year as well as Rock Performance and Song, Americana Performance and Song, and American Roots Song categories.


Lizzo received five nominations, Steve Lacy received three nominations, Sam Smith and Kim Petras were nominated for Unholy (Kim's first Grammy nomination, Sam's seventh), Kaytranada picked up a nomination in the Best Dance/Electronic Recording category for Intimidated featuring H.E.R.


Brothers Osbourne secured a nomination in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category, Randy Rainbow picked up his first Grammy nomination in the Best Comedy Album category, and Latin artists Omar Apollo and Anitta picked up their first nominations in the Best New Artist category.


A Strange Loop has been nominated in the Best Musical Theater Album category, and gay singer Perfume Genius received his first ever nomination for his collaboration on the Yeah Yeah Yeah's track Spitting Off The Edge of The World, which was nominated for Best Alternative Music Performance.


On the female rap front, Doja Cat scored a multitude of nominations, including Record of the Year as well as Best Rap Performance, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Music Video, and Best Pop Duo Performance with Post Malone.


Latto earned two nominations for Best New Artist and Best Rap Performance. Newcomer GloRilla surprised received her first nomination with “FNF (Let’s Go)” being nominated for Best Rap Performance.


As for the snubs, Nicki Minaj, who whined on social media about Super Freaky Girl not being included in the Beat Rap category weeks before the nominations were announced, received no nominations, and Summer Walker was also snubbed, taking her disappointment to social media in the process.


Other snubs include Megan Thee Stallion, John Legend and Alicia Keys,


The 65th Annual Grammy Awards will air on Sunday, February 5 on CBS.
